The Boy Who Grew Flowers - At risk of making this review sound like complete hyperbole, I have to say, this is the most beautiful story I have ever read. The Barefoot Books site says "...this touching story shows us that what makes us different makes us beautiful" and I think that sums it up so perfectly that I'm not even going to try. This is a magical tale with a happy ending, and young Rink Bowagon could teach us all something about acceptance and being true to ourselves.
